Portrait Drawing Workshop Online
Instructor - Maxx Follis-Goodkind
Basic tools: Paper, pencil
Optional: Bristol, mixed media or waterolor paper, variety of pencil weights
You will use a reference photo to draw a portrait. We'll start with general shapes and review anatomy and proportions. This class will focus on breaking away from traditional art proportions to acknowledge the diversity of human facial structures/shapes. Students will get optional reference photos emailed to them that they can print out. We will work together on each step with a brief introduction and instructions at the beginning.
This class will happen over Zoom. Students will be able to see the instructor and what the instructor is working on. Video and audio is optional for students, but encouraged. You will get a link to the class meeting and any handouts or prep by the day before. Start time is set, but end time is approximate.
Classes are limited to 15 students to provide each attendee with feedback and attention. You can contact info@pushpullseattle.com for questions about student discounts and private class bookings.
