Sun, Nov 15, 2020 from 11am - 1pm

This event has passed.

In these changing times, it is more crucial than ever that we recognize the way stress and trauma show up in our bodies and behaviors. Taking the time to acknowledge and tend to our body’s natural defense mechanisms can help prevent lasting harm to ourselves and others. Join the Consent Academy for an updated and accessible look at our sympathetic nervous system, ways to identify trauma responses (much more than fight, flight, and freeze), as well as tips on how to navigate back to an empowered baseline.

About the Educators:

The Consent Academy is a group of dedicated educators and activists who provide quality consent training and consultations. We have come together to promote Consent Culture through education, speaking out, and supporting organizations that want to do better. We talk a lot about consent and consensual activity. It’s the cornerstone of what we teach and who we are. And while that is easy to say, we know that living a dedication to consent takes work, awareness, and a willingness to engage.
