Screenplay Formatting with Dave Trottier

You may know him as Dr. Format or “that guy who wrote The Screenwriter’s Bible” but Dave Trottier is also a produced screenwriter and script consultant.

He will be joining us online for a chat about the importance of formatting in how your work represents you.

Tuesday, May 18th, 6:30pm

This event is free – registration required and space is limited – but NwSG members have a special opportunity during the session. We invite you to send in a sample of a formatting question in your own work and Dave will show you how to fix it LIVE! Can’t figure out how to do an intercut or confused about subheadings? Want to know how to properly show text messages or dialogue in another language? No worries! Dave has the answers!

Submission details:
Must be a NwSG member to submit. The script excerpt will be presented on-screen for demonstration purposes.
Send a detailed question of your problem or confusion to events@nwsg.org.
For context provide one scene or 2 pages of short scenes max.
Deadline Sunday, May 2nd.
We will try to get to as many of these as we can!
