Bozal Mezcal Tasting

We're obvious whiskey nuts here at The Barrel Thief, but sometimes you need to take a sharp turn and get off the main road and find yourself in a different place for a while.  That's where Mezcal comes in.

At our Barrel Thief Academy class a couple months ago, one Mezcal stood out as the class favorite:  Bozal.  This fantastic producer bottles Mezcals from different distilleries using various species of agave, but everything they make is wonderful.  It's a staff favorite at The Barrel Thief, and we're very excited to do a special tasting of five Bozal expressions:

•     Ensamble
•     Tobalá
•     Cuishe
•     Tobasiche
•     Chino Verde

Joining us will be Andrei Kissin from 3 Badge Beverage, who imports Bozal to the United States.  Andrei will guide us through the tasting and answer your questions about Bozal and about Mezcal in general.

The tasting will be held via Zoom meeting, with tasting kits (5 x 0.5-oz samples) available for pick-up at The Barrel Thief a week or two before the event.
