The 2021 Heatwave was the hottest on record in the PNW, killing more than 1200 people, straining and damaging local infrastructure, and impacting businesses. In urban centers, boosting tree canopy cover is proven to keep cities cooler and help us adapt to a future of climate-induced heat events. Native plants are often appreciated  for their adaptive potential but native trees may also fall victim to the heat. Join our panel for Climate Science on Tap as we discuss climate change and our urban forests. Meet the experts! Listen to riveting presentations! Engage in a Q & A and learn how you can get involved to save trees and protect our communities.
