CAT TOWER!

The cat tower reflects one of the most neglected objects in the design kingdom.

Invented by Frank Crow in 1968, he outlined the three traits that a successful cat tower must provide:

1 - A clawing surface of maximum appeal to a cat
2 - A climbing structure of high appeal and good exercising
3 - A facility for playing, feeding and sleeping

Museum of Museums is proud to present CAT TOWER in the Malone Gallery. This group exhibition will showcase 12-16 free standing sculptures based upon Frank Crow's core tenets, and be voted on by the museum general audience and a population of visiting cats.

Participating artists/designers will receive a $500.00 material stipend and MOM will donate $5,000.00 to the animal or human shelter of the winner's choice.

MoM welcomes guests to bring their cats to play and explore the collection of cat towers on Wednesdays and Sundays in the Malone Gallery. Guests wishing to visit the exhibition in a cat free environment should book tickets during our Thursday, Friday, and Saturday hours. Please email us with any questions or concerns at info@museumofmuseums.com

Future Machine vol 4. NO[W]HERE

Future Machine is an ongoing art initiative by Electric Coffin that explores the intersection of art and industry. Volume 4 is focused on transformation, technology, and humanity.

Electric Coffin brings an immersive art experience exploring the transformation of the technological and natural world - and our role in that evolution.

As we enter into this era of cognitive computing it is our role to reach beyond logic and algorithms. We are intuitive dreaming creatures capable of bringing together resolutions from vastly disparate sources. We see the language of patterns and beauty in the cosmos. We are storytelling and social animals. Innovation will come from people who are able to link beauty to engineering, and poetry to processors. Creators who can flourish where the arts intersect with the sciences, and who have a rebellious sense of wonder that opens them to the beauty of both, can lead the way..
