Bondage for sex isn't as simple as you might think. It's easy to make mistakes - resulting in a perfectly nice bondage scene and no ready way to make the sex part work. We'll help you avoid this frustrating experience.
This workshop will get us right into the "what is sex" debate, and we'll be using a pretty liberal definition. Rest assured that we're NOT limiting the workshop to boy-girl penis-vagina sex here. As with all of Max's workshops this workshop is appropriate for all genders and orientations.
Topics to be covered include cover general considerations, a few useful knots and a variety of interesting positions.
We'll have instruction. We'll have demos. And yes - we'll have plenty of hands-on practice. Sorry - the demos and practice won't include actual sex - you'll have to go home to practice the sex part.

* Workshop format

Much of the class will consist of hands-on exercises so you'll have plenty of time to practice and enjoy what you've learned. And, as always, the handout distributed at the workshop will help you when you practice at home.
If you can, come with a practice partner. If you don't have a partner, come anyway and we'll make sure you get a chance to practice the basic techniques. Rope Bottoms - this is your chance to meet some rope tops - come learn and get tied up!
Loaner rope will be available, but bring the following if you can:
(4) 10-foot pieces of 6mm or 8mm rope
(2) 30-foot pieces of 6mm or 8mm rope

This workshop is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for tops and bottoms.
No prior knowledge of bondage or BDSM is assumed for this class - it's perfectly appropriate for beginners. This class is also helpful if you've already done some bondage and want to learn some additional ties or get some practice time.
You may attend alone or with a partner. Please buy a ticket for each attendee.

We are navigating the current guidelines and our own sense of safety and reasonableness. The protocol for this event is based on our own research and risk assessment; we encourage you to do the same before you purchase your ticket.
There is no vaccination requirement for this event. Max is vaccinated and boosted and recommends that you be vaccinated to reduce the severity of your illness if you get sick. Unvaccinated people 12 and older are 17 times as likely to die from Covid as vaccinated and boosted people.
Masks will not be required. You may, of course, wear a mask if you wish.
Please do not attend if you are exhibiting COVID symptoms or you are exposed to someone who has tested positive in the 14 days before the event.
Testing before attending events is a good way to protect each other. Max tests before each event. If you can, please test before you come to class.
