Max Presents Lew Rubens' Lewbari Weekend
A Lewbari Weekend is a two-day hands-on event that takes participants from beginning rope bondage through intensive floor work and basic suspension.
This is your opportunity to learn rope bondage from one of the best - Lew Rubens!
From beginners to those with extensive rope skills, everyone can benefit from this comprehensive intensive, which covers all the fundamentals of Lew's unique style. Lew teaches good solid ropework without all the fuss; using techniques that are tried and true.
Lew has taught dozens of these Lewbari weekends since the first one in 2006, in many parts of the US, Canada, Spain, Australia, Italy and Germany.

Workshop format
The Lewbari weekend contains lecture, demonstrations, and LOTS of hands-on practice time.
There will be a 90-minute break each day so you can go off-site for lunch. A list of local dining options will be provided to attendees. If you bring your own lunch, please plan on preparing and eating it offsite.

You can be as participatory - or not participatory - as you wish. There's never any pressure to do anything.
Who should attend?
This workshop is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for tops and bottoms.
No prior knowledge is assumed for this class - it's perfectly appropriate for all experience levels. Many people have gotten their start with a Lewbari weekend.
Tickets for this event are only sold as pairs - you must bring a practice partner. There will generally be time for the tying partners to switch if they both want to practice tying.
Afterwards
Attendees receive a 30 page handout full of technique, tips, and tricks.
Cancelation / refund policy
If you cancel your registration at least 20 days before the event you will receive a full refund, exclusive of ticketing fees.
If you cancel your registration 2 to 20 days before the event you will receive a refund, less a $50 cancellation fee for each attendee and ticketing fees.
If you test positive for Covid during these last 20 days you will receive a full refund, exclusive of ticketing fees.
If we cancel the event you will receive a 100% refund, to include ticketing fees.
Agreements
No smoking or vaping inside.
Refrain from wearing perfumes, oils, & scented products as our hosts are chemically sensitive.
Covid protocols
We are navigating the current guidelines and our own sense of safety and reasonableness. The protocol for this event is based on our own research and risk assessment; we encourage you to do the same before you purchase your ticket.
We will have HEPA air purifiers running in the dungeon. These air purifiers have been shown to reduce Covid-19 transmission.
There is no vaccination requirement for this event. Max is vaccinated and boosted and recommends that you be vaccinated to reduce the severity of your illness if you get sick. Unvaccinated people 12 and older are 17 times as likely to die from Covid as vaccinated and boosted people.
Masks will not be required. You may, of course, wear a mask if you wish.
Please do not attend if you are exhibiting Covid symptoms or you are exposed to someone who has tested positive in the 14 days before the event.
Testing before attending events is a good way to protect each other. Please test before you come to class.

About Lew
Lew Rubens started his bondage career in the Seattle area in 2001 and has tied, taught, and played all around the world ever since.
He set up his first bondage site (BoundNDetermined.com) in 2002, rigged for WaterBondage.com from 2006 - 2008, and also rigged for Hogtied.com, WhippedAss.com, FuckingMachines.com, PublicDisgrace.com, and SexAndSubmission.com. In between, he's taught bondage classes all around the world.
