The 2023 Undisputable Geniuses of Comedy!

In this one-of-a-kind show you’ll see the Pacific Northwest's funniest people (and hilarious up-and-comers) all on one stage. Stand-up comedians, comedy that defy description… all featuring the PNW's “undisputable” geniuses!

Starring the Pacific Northwest's Brightest Comedy Talents:

Dewa Dorje: Born and raised in Seattle, Dewa Dorje is a Tibetan American comedian and single mom of two.  Dewa delivers punchlines with a smile and explicit honesty that make her hilarious and easy-to-love. Her jokes are smart, silly and often about dookie (not metaphorically). She produces and hosts the monthly Dee’s Nuts: a live comedy talk show at Seattle’s famous Crocodile every first Saturday and has a podcast Dank Moms on all platforms. More info at: www.dewadorje.com or on Instagram @dewadorje / Twitter @theonlydewa.

Nariko Ott: Your host for the evening and writer for the punk rock humor website The Hard Times Magazine, and host of the comedy Podcast "What's More Metal?".  Nariko was winner of the Portland's Funniest Person Contest as well as been featured on EPIX’s “Unprotected Sets," “Laughs” on FOX, Spotify, SiriusXM, and iHeartRadio. He's been on the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs, and the TreeFort Music Fest among others.

Alyssa Yeoman: Alyssa is a comedian, writer, producer and part-time alien. Alyssa uses their unique life experience, quick wit and keen observation to take you on an unexpected ride from topic to topic. They have been featured in Bumbershoot, 10K Laughs, Seattle International Comedy Competition and The New Negroes Live Tour!

Arlo Weierhauser: Arlo Weierhauser is pretty fun. They were crowned Portland’s Funniest Person, were honored to be a "New Face" at Just For Laughs Festival at Montreal, appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and were in Disney's "Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made". You can see their episode of "Unprotected Sets" on Epix. You'll remember them as a co-founder of Lez Standup, a former host of the Mercury's I, Anonymous Show, a comedy festival regular, and a bottomless well of hilarious childhood stories that can be heartbreaking while brimming with WTF? Arlo also wields hilarious facial expressions like a samurai uses a sword. Now they're back in the PNW and we're so lucky to have 'em!

Emmett Montgomery! He’s been voted by the readers of Seattle Weekly as Seattle's Best Comic 2015, 2017 and 2018 (it wasn't a category in 2016) and was one of the top 100 on Season 9 of NBCs Last Comic Standing. He produces, hosts and curates the comedy showcase Joketellers Union at Clockout Lounge on Wednesdays with comedian and comix Brett Hamil and is a regular host of The Moth Seattle and is bookable for storytelling, standup, and weirdness.

Kate Murphy: We love Kate Murphy! You remember her as the latest host of the Portland Mercury's I, Anonymous Show, the co-host of Dark Web Tonight, and a finalist in Helium Comedy Club's Portland's Funniest Person 2018. Plus she's been featured in soooo many fests, including the Hell Yes Fest, The NW Women’s Comedy Festival, Pacific Crest Comedy Fest, and more! After a stint in LA, Kate is back and already wowing post-pandemic crowds with her razor sharp, yet adorable, yet hilariously bizarre observations on modern life. It bears repeating: We love Kate Murphy!

Derek Sheen Derek Sheen is a cuddly mess of insecurities and a gifted storyteller who has released four albums with Minneapolis-based Stand Up! Records, most recently 2020’s “Macho Caballero”.

Steven Wilber: Oh, this guy is good. Steven Wilber is a former winner of the Portland's Funniest contest at Helium, was featured at Montreal's Just for Laughs festival, SF Sketchfest, Bridgetown Comedy Fest, Treefort, AND released his debut comedy album in 2020, 16 Bits. And in case you're interested, he's also known around comedy circles as an "agent of chaos." So who the hell knows what Wilber is going to bring to this year's Geniuses of Comedy? But rest assured it will be sharp, odd, and gut-bustingly funny. (Note: He also carries a miniature version of himself inside his mouth. But don't let that stop you from buying tickets... he's harmless.)

Jamie Carbone is a comedian whose lifetime of awkward experiences and faking adulthood have helped them find a voice for themselves, originally in West Virginia, then Chicago, now Portland. They've been a featured performer for showcases and festivals across the country, including Boston's Thunderfest and Phoenix's Bird City Comedy Festival, and is a past winner of West Virginia's Last Comic Standing. Even better... they spend their free time making fake Seinfeld scripts on Instagram and Twitter!?! 👀 What?? YES.

Natalie Holt got their start performing comedy in Seattle and hasn't stopped since, performing across the country at bars, clubs, coffee shops, dog parks, and festivals. Their unique voice combines bright-eyed curiosity and nihilistic anxiety into absurdity. As a child, they watched a lot of old musicals with their grandma and dressed as Sonic the Hedgehog characters for three consecutive Halloweens. That doesn't relate directly to comedy but it helps explain their whole deal. In their spare time, Natalie writes humor, which you can find in Slackjaw, the Belladonna, and McSweeney's. They also co-produce Seattle's favorite open mic, The Comedy Nest, every Tuesday night.
