Session 5: Kara Hesse

The Armour St Sessions are very proud to present Session #5, a wonderful living room show featuring the incredible vocals of Kara Hesse. This intimate house venue will provide an excellent opportunity to experience this incredible singer, who will receive all the proceeds from ticket sales.

Native to the Wichita plains and raised in Boulder, CO, Kara’s midwestern roots seep through her sultry voice and songwriting with an eclectic blend of Americana soul and rock ‘n roll. Her music is like a warm breeze from Muscle Shoals in a contemporary framework that scratches a musical itch you didn’t realize you had. Her music has been placed on television shows, including CBS Scorpion and DirecTV You Me Her.  She has self-released two albums, Better By Morning (2014) and Sojourner (2018), and is currently working on her third full-length album in Nashville, Tennessee, where she now resides.

The Armour St Sessions is a house concert series created by Ryan Hodgson, former Founder and President of Team Up For Nonprofits. This organization produced music benefits to raise funds and awareness for deserving nonprofits. You are invited into his Queen Anne home to experience national touring artists in an intimate and unique environment. With limited capacity, you should book tickets* now before they sell out.
