Aline & Wes

Dual stars glowing in the night sky, Aline Vida and Wes Speight blend the best of their musical essences to present a single-minded glow that illuminates everything around them. Powerful, poignant vocals tumble with gravelly electric guitars to bring forth an illuminated sound both new and numinous. It shines. Vida and Speight, separately, have made reputations for themselves in the Emerald City's music scene. Vida, an American Academy of Dramatic Arts graduate in L.A., has sung fluttering vocals in clubs worldwide and graced the radio waves at stations like KSER and KEXP in the Northwest. Speight, originally from Tennessee, is an intuitive arranger and pointed vocalist as creative in his songwriting as he is in his instrumentations. Equally comfortable headlining a summer festival as he is playing a dive bar at sunrise morning, Speight is a multi-talented musician and prolific songwriter. He has, on occasion, had world-famous artists paint Sasquatch portraits as he plays on stage. The duo appeared on Evening Magazine on Seattle NBC affiliate King 5. Inspired by a desire to speak out about social injustices, life observations, and multifaceted relationships that seem as modern as they do timeless, Aline & Wes have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life.

Wes Weddell & Ailisa Newhall

One's a classically-trained soprano and distinguished choral conductor. The other's an award-winning songwriter and tireless presence on Seattle's live-music scene. Both are in-demand session-musicians, though with very different credits. Together, Wes Weddell & Ailisa Newhall bring a shared passion for craft and community to an original duo project that combines two complementary arsenals of skill and experience. Longtime friends, the pair teamed for years to teach a songwriting unit in Newhall's public school choir classes, and over time they began to wonder what they'd sound like playing behind their own collaborative compositions. The result is "Pushing Forward," an album of engaging narrative songs that delivers true dual-lead vocal arrangements supported by nuanced instrumental excellence.

Brittany Danielle

With songs that sound like Top 40 hits but read like tarot cards, Danielle, who has been playing piano since 8-years-old and boasts a graduate degree in music, creates compositions that touch opposite sides of the spectrum. On Danielle's debut LP, which she will unveil in 2022, many of the tracks were born from the pandemic, and the song exercises that kept her sane throughout. Woven together with truths about her mental health (and its own unraveling), the songs represent growth, new connections.
