Calle Allende, an exploration of Frida Kahlo’s psyche inspired by her diary entry and painting “The Two Fridas,” by puppetry company Pinned & Sewtured. A vivid piece of visual theater informed by Kahlo’s distinctive style of painting, Calle Allende brings to life Kahlo's internal struggles with the prospect of fading inspiration.

Calle Allende is recommended for audiences aged 14 and up for adult themes of pain, death and miscarriage.
Performed in English and Spanish.
