Rat City Roller Derby Pinkies Skate Camp - Winter

Rat City Roller Derby's Pinkies Learn-to-Skate Program is back on January 7th ! Join us and learn how to balance, maintain skating form, stops, crossovers and more.
The camp is $120 in toal for 12 weekly sessions the last week being a feedback day. All practices will be held 5-7 p.m. Sundays January 7th -March 24th at Seattle Derby Brats space, located at 13024 Stone Ave N, in Seattle.
Pinkies program is open to all genders.
At the end of the 12-week session, Pinkies will be offered individual feedback on their growth throughout the program. Skaters may choose to attend Pinkies again (there is no limit to how many times one may attend Pinkies), or if the skater is safe to begin learning contact and gameplay, they may move to RCRD's next level of practices.
All skaters are required to have the following personal protective equipment : knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouthguard, helmet and quad skates. If you are facing financial difficulties, you can reach out to us. We have a gear library that is available for you to borrow from.
Skaters are required to be 18 years of age and older, provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination plus one booster. Send proof of COVID-19 vaccination to mailto:hr@ratcityrollerderby.com. No prior skating experience required.
