3rd Annual Rainier Valley BBQ Contest
Saturday August 16 2014
Prizes awarded for:
- Best pork ribs (baby back)
- Best pork shoulder (“pulled pork”)
- Best chicken thighs
- Best "anything goes" entry
This is an amateur event (no big rigs!). Wood or charcoal smokers only, no gas/electric smokers. Please bring lawn chairs, water, sanitation, and a trash container. Electricity available. You can drop off gear but parking 1-2 blocks away.

Schedule:
- BBQ Team check-in is between 6-8 am
- Chicken turn-in at 12:00 pm
- Ribs turn-in at 1 pm
- Pork shoulder turn-in at 2:00 pm
- Special prize category turn-in at 2:30 pm
- Awards at 3:00 pm
