Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Kla Ha Ya Days Balloon Glow. This exciting event features live music from Nite Wave with special guest/s, a variety of food trucks, a vendor fair, a kid zone, and an enchanting hot air balloon glow at dusk. TICKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ADULTS 18 AND OLDER.

TICKET OPTIONS

  • General Admission – Includes entry to the event and concert, plus non-reserved parking. Children 17 and under are free and do not require a ticket.
  • VIP Admission (21+ Only) – Enjoy an upgraded experience with:
    • Reserved parking closest to the stage and beer garden
    • Exclusive access to the CMG Home Loans VIP Lounge inside the beer garden with a private entrance and premiere seating
    • 1 Drink Ticket

Q: When and where is the event?

The Kla Ha Ya Days Balloon Glow takes place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM at Harvey Airfield, 10530 Airport Way, Snohomish, WA 98296.

 

Q: Do I need a ticket to attend?

Yes, all adults aged 18 and over need a ticket to attend. Kids 17 and under are FREE and do not need a ticket. Tickets go on sale starting April 30 and are available at scaled pricing. Ticket prices will increase on May 14th, June 8th and June 12th. We strongly encourage purchasing your ticket online in advance, as it will make the entry and parking process faster and more streamlined for everyone. 

General Admission and VIP tickets are available.

Q: The event was free in the past... why do we need tickets this year?

Great question! The Balloon Glow has grown significantly in recent years, attracting thousands of attendees. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized experience, we’ve had to invest in increased infrastructure, staffing, security, traffic control, and amenities.

Your ticket fee helps cover those essential costs — and any proceeds beyond expenses go directly to support local non-profits and the broader Kla Ha Ya Days Festival. It’s a way to keep the magic alive and give back to our community at the same time.

 

Q: What is a “Balloon Glow”?

A Balloon Glow is a nighttime event where hot air balloons stay grounded and fire their burners in sync to create a glowing, illuminated show. It’s stunning to see as the sun sets!

 

Q: What time is the Balloon Glow itself?

The glow begins just after sunset, around 8:15 PM, and continues for approximately one to 1 1/2 hours, weather permitting.

 

Q: What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

Balloon Glow is a weather-dependent activity. If unsafe conditions prevent balloon participation, other festivities will continue, including live music, food vendors, beer garden, and games. Weather updates will be posted on our social channels.

 

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

Absolutely! Expect a delicious variety of local food trucks, desserts, and a beer & beverage garden for guests 21+.

 

Q: Can I bring my own food and non-alcoholic drinks?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own snacks, picnic items, and non-alcoholic beverages. We just ask that you leave glass containers at home and pack out what you pack in. There will also be an amazing selection of food trucks and local vendors on site if you’d rather enjoy something tasty there!

 

Q: Is this a family-friendly event?

Yes! Balloon Glow is designed to be fun for all ages — with music, games, open lawn areas, and the magical glow experience.

 

Q: Where can I park?

Parking is available on-site at the field. VIP tickets include designated VIP parking. GA parking is first-come, first-served. We encourage carpooling if possible.

As guests arrive, they'll show their tickets to a ticketing volunteer, then be directed to their parking spot by a parking attendant to help keep things organized and efficient.

 

Q: Can I bring chairs or blankets?

Yes! Feel free to bring low-profile lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the evening from the grass in our designated chair/blanket areas. VIP ticket holders will have a premium viewing area with provided seating.

 

Q: Are pets allowed?

For the safety and comfort of all guests (and the balloons), and due to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines, pets are not permitted, with the exception of registered service animals.

 

Q: What is not allowed at the event?

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following items are not permitted:

  • Drugs or illegal substances

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Outside alcohol

  • Pop-up tents or large umbrellas

  • Drones or remote-controlled devices

  • Pets (except registered service animals)
