Q: What is a Balloon Glow?

A Balloon Glow is a nighttime event where hot air balloons remain grounded and fire their burners in sync to create a glowing, illuminated show. It’s stunning as the sun sets over the Snohomish Valley!

Q: What time does the Balloon Glow begin?

The glow begins just after sunset — approximately 8:15 PM — and continues for about 1 to 1½ hours, weather permitting.

Q: What happens if weather conditions are unsafe?

Balloon Glow is weather-dependent. If unsafe conditions prevent balloon participation, other festivities will continue, including:

  • Live music
  • Food vendors
  • Beer & beverage garden
  • Family activities & games

Weather updates will be posted on our social media channels.

All ticket sales are final.

Q: Is this a family-friendly event?

Balloon Glow is designed to be fun for all ages — with music, lawn areas, family activities, and the magical glow experience.

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

We will have a variety of local food trucks, desserts, and a 21+ beer & beverage garden.

Alcohol purchased inside the event must remain within designated event boundaries and may not be taken into the parking lot.

Q: Can I bring my own food or drinks?

No outside food or beverages are allowed.

The only exceptions are:

  • Sealed water bottles
  • Empty reusable water bottles

Refill stations will be available.

This policy helps support our vendors and ensures a safe, well-managed event.

Q: What payment methods are accepted?

We are mostly cashless.

Tickets, merchandise, and beverage sales accept:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Digital payments

Some vendors may accept cash.

Q: Is there a designated Uber / rideshare location?

We will have a clearly marked rideshare drop-off and pick-up zone located close to the main event entrance.

Please follow event signage upon arrival. We strongly encourage ridesharing and carpooling.

Q: Where can I park?

Parking is available on-site at the field.

  • VIP tickets include designated VIP parking
  • ADA parking is available near the entrance
  • All parking is first-come, first-served

Upon arrival:

  • Have your ticket(s) ready prior to entering the event entrance
  • Show your ticket(s) to a ticketing volunteer
  • A parking attendant will direct you to your spot

Tailgating and alcohol consumption in the parking lot are strictly prohibited.

Guests found consuming alcohol in the parking lot will be denied entry or removed from the event without refund.

Q: Can I bring chairs or blankets?

Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome in designated seating areas. We just ask that you do not place chairs or blankets directly in front of the stage to leave room for standing/dancing.

VIP ticket holders have access to tented seating with provided chairs and tables.

Q: Is the event ADA accessible?

The event takes place on a grass field at Harvey Airfield.

  • ADA parking is available near the entrance for vehicles with valid placards
  • Accessible restrooms will be available

If you require additional assistance, please contact us in advance at info@snohomishblockparty.org.

Q: What should I wear?

This is an outdoor event on grass. We recommend comfortable shoes and bringing layers for after sunset when temperatures can drop.

For the safety and comfort of guests (and in accordance with FAA guidelines), pets are not permitted.

Registered service animals are welcome.
