Intermediate use of paired floggers with fancy patterns is sexy, and a useful tool in your metaphorical toolbox. It's challenging to learn in very different ways for different people though. Almost everyone struggles with either the flow patterns, or turning them into enjoyable impact, or a combination of both.

Russell has been giving people solid flogging foundations for a couple decades, but trying without success to figure out an upward double figure-eight for about as long. Aurora has a background in flow arts, and walked him through finding that pattern within ten minutes. Lately she's been raising people's success rates by circulating during the advanced practice portions of his 'Practical Application of Floggers' class. Between her experience with communicating flow patterns, and his experience with flogging impact mechanics, we think we've got a teaching structure and useful one-on-one feedback for everybody!

We will assume you can throw a flogger accurately, and that you've done at least some initial experimentation with using your off hand. The class will include teaching and practice of a number of single and double handed patterns, and how to use them within a scene. If you're interested in leveling up your existing flogging skills, come try this out!

About the Educators:

Russell Harmon has been teaching popular kink-related classes since 1999, including his 'Practical Application of Floggers' which provides a foundation for this more intermediate practice. He runs LovinglyHandmadePornography.com, which is both sneakily educational and an attempt to prove that intensity and fun aren't mutually exclusive in BDSM porn.

Aurora Violet is a vivacious, playful, and inquisitive switch; discovered BDSM/kink in 2008. Beginning as a bottom and taking a submissive role; she wanted to become a better suspension bottom and found the circus not long after. Using what she learned as a bottom and submissive informs her topping practice that she uses today. After specializing in aerials and rope bondage, she recognized the rarity of available venues that have tall ceilings and sturdy hard points. She chose to dabble in juggling and “flow arts” on the ground in 2017, finding more inclusiveness and friends. Hula hooping became one of Aurora’s circus specialties, later leading to fire hooping. In appreciation of overcoming fear, challenges, and supporting one another; her values include building community and finding high quality connection with others. In her opinion, BDSM is one of the most efficient ways to reach these goals. She has dabbled in many BDSM specialities throughout the years depending on who she is dating, and began teaching in 2016.
