Original Music inspired by Robert C. O’Brien’s Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH

This show is co-presented with Seattle Folklore Society at the Phinney Community Hall in Phinney Neighborhood Association’s “Brick Building” down the hill from the main PNA Center at 6532 Phinney Ave N. Parking available in the lot off NE 67th St between Phinney and Dayton.

Mrs. Frisby is a widowed field mouse with a sick child and an impossible deadline: move before the spring plowing, or the child will face certain death. Fortunately, she’s got some truly incredible neighbors. The extraordinarily intelligent rats of NIMH, who escaped a government laboratory and are building a civilization of their own, take her plight as their own and illustrate the profound power of asking for help.
