Integrity Shamanic Trance Dance

at Queen Anne United Methodist Church/The Well
This event has passed.

In April, we dance to understand and align with the essential quality of Integrity. Spring is fully manifest, and as the earth and sky shower us with potential to grow, we inevitably wonder how to use this potential for goodness.

What does integrity truly mean? Is it a flawless character or the strength to acknowledge our flaws? Is it our public reputation or the private self we know intimately? Integrity of character, much like the integrity of a physical structure, is the quality of all parts fitting together, aligning to create a strength and stability. When we are in our integrity, our actions match our values, as do our words. We mean what we say, we say what we mean, and we do what we say we will. Those around us see us moving forward with integrity and become inspired to align with their own integrity as well.

Take a moment go into your heart and ask:

“Where in my life have I lacked alignment of my integrity?”

"What are the ways that I already maintain the integrity of values, actions, and words?”

"What will I gain when I live in whole, complete, sustained integrity?”

This dance ceremony is designed to clear mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual blocks that prevent you from living in your highest & greatest state of integrity, openness, confidence, joy, and empowerment.

Bring a curious heart, loosely fitting and comfy clothes to dance in, and a water bottle. You may also bring items that symbolize the ways you wish to celebrate, nurture, and create Integrity within yourself and in our world. Let the dance be an honoring of the earth that supports us, the bodies that we inhabit, and the hearts that call us forward.

There is no dance experience necessary. This is an experiential free dance in a judgment-free, sacred, and contained space. All ages are welcome, and there may be children in attendance.

I look forward to dancing with you all and your intentions for good, true, and beautiful Integrity!

Blessings  & Gratitude,

Sam
