Remember me is both a living poem and a visual benediction to those so often overlooked, dismissed, or forgotten in our communities. Inspired by the power of poetic connections, Remember me is a metaphor for our unbroken bloodline of human resilience and survival. Vermillion presents selections from a growing archive of collaborative, multimedia works collected for more than 10 years from various local communities including incarcerated women, homeless women, women of color, differently-abled women, women surviving mental illness, teenaged women, and children.

Marin's Red Lineage Project (www.redlineage.com) has received support from hundreds of individuals around the world as well as from the City of Seattle, Hedgebrook, Hugo House, Path With Art, New Horizons, Reel Grrls, Keeping the Faith, Seattle Public Schools' Asa Mercer Middle School, and the Seattle People of Color Salon (SPoCS). Natasha Marin is the author of Milk, creator of #WomanCentered, and the mad-woman behind Miko Kuro'sMidnight Tea.
