The Vera Project and Sub Pop present the 2018 Viva Vera Gala, hosted by Cheryl Waters of KEXP! This night is a celebration of VERA's role in creating a vibrant Seattle all-ages music & arts scene. Your support of Viva Vera will help The Vera Project uplift hundreds of young people through music and the arts all year long.

Guests will enjoy a hosted bar with cocktails by OOLA Distillery featuring Rachel's Ginger Beer, silent & live auctions, an exquisite array of delectables from Madres Kitchen, and a live performance from Seattle's own Falon Sierra.

The evening will begin with passed hor d'oeuvres (vegan & gluten-free inclusive), and cocktails in the Lodge Room.

Desserts will be offered for purchase during the Live Auction. Caffe Vita and Morning Glory Chai will be available to wash it all down.

After the close of the main event, the fun will continue at an exclusive all ages afterparty sponsored by 206 ZuluLux Pot Shop, and Do206 in the Lodge Room featuring DJs from 206 Zulu & Dance Yourself Clean for an epic danceparty! The afterparty is open to all, and admission is suggested donation of $10 to continue to fuel VERA for the year ahead. In true VERA fasion, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Drinks will be available for purchase.

Please note, this year's Viva Vera Gala will be reflective of your feedback from past events. One big part of this is lowering the ticket price to be more inclusive to our fuller community. This also means no more stuffy sit-down dinner—instead expect more types of delicious food & more room to mingle. We're cutting down the Live Auction to only a handful, and will be focusing on the Fund-A-Need (aka Raise-the-Paddle) portion of the evening. Expect less boring talk and more time for partying!
