SIDF Mini Winter Fest

The Seattle International Dance Festival Winter Mini-Fest presents two Inter|National weekends of globally inspired dance performances and cross-cultural collaborations February 3-10, 2018.
Ciudad Interior Company (CI) based near Mexico City joins Khambatta Dance Company (KDC) of Seattle, with each company presenting their own works, and a unique collaboration which will have the director of each Company, Alejandro Chavez of CIC and Cyrus Khambatta of KDC, swapping companies to create a work in one week to be presented Weekend Two / Program B of the Winter Mini-Fest. KDC is also joined by international clothing designer, Belgrade-based Jasmina Panic who will create costumes for its most recent work, "Endangered Species," inspired by personal accounts during a recent international trip Mr. Khambatta and presented Weekend One /Program A along with other works by CIC of Mexico. With two weekends of dance programming rich in international origins, you won't want to miss this cross-cultural dance adventure!
