Synopsis: Blanquito is 30 years old and lives with his mother in a fishing village. A shipment of cocaine appears on the beach one day; this gives him the opportunity to travel in search of a better life and the father he never knew, along with a woman who says she knows how to move the drugs. Alas, things are not as they seem and Blanquito, an endearing and funny guy, will soon realize that he does not belong anywhere.
Biography: SebastiÁn Cordero spent his childhood in Ecuador, his adolescence in Paris and studied screenwriting for film at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Ratas, ratones, rateros was his first feature film, which premiered in Venice and soon became a social and cultural landmark in Ecuador.
