The Succulent Garden 3D: 3D Printing Workshop!

In this 2 class workshop (1. 5 hr per class) participants will be introduced to the art of computer aided design and applications within 3D printing. This workshop covers the basics of creating simple geometric forms in the software, Sketchup. Additionally, students will be introduced to topics within gardening and growing succulent plants by designing 3D printed pots!

During the workshop students will have the opportunity to design a 3D printed succulent plant to be used with the pot or they can design the pot to be used with an actual plant provided by the workshop. Following the idea of integrating the arts with STEM initiatives- after each succulent pot is made students will spend time painting and customizing their models.
