AN EVENING OF ART AND CONVERSATION: NORTHWEST ART AND ARTISTS
This fall, the Henry and the Junior League of Seattle (JLS) partner to host an evening of art and conversation about the rich history of Northwest Art lead by Francine Seders, Director of the Francine Seders Gallery. Artworks by Northwest artists from the Henry’s collection, such as Jacob Lawrence, George Tsutakawa, Michael Spafford, and Norman Lundin among others will be on view in the Reed Collections Study Center.
The JLS’s Northwest Art Project develops critical thinking through art by bringing original works of art by Northwest artists to the region’s schools. During its early years, the program was hosted and administered in conjunction with the Henry.
