The Future of Urban Manufacturing: Advanced Manufacturing and the Maker Economy

Tue, Oct 9, 2018 from 6:30pm - 9pm

This event has passed.

What is advanced manufacturing and how does it intersect with the maker movement? How does advanced manufacturing create economic opportunity, spur creativity and innovation, and impact environmental sustainability? And are there any downsides to this more democratic form of manufacturing?

Please join us and our accomplished panel for a fascinating and informative discussion of these and other questions at The Future of Urban Manufacturing: Advanced Manufacturing and the Maker Economy on Tuesday, October 9th, at The Collective, Seattle’s urban basecamp for mind, body, and soul. This evening of inspiring conversation is topped off with delightful drinks and appetizers by our venue host. The Future is sponsored this year by BECU and the Alliance for American Manufacturing, and presented in partnership with The Collective Seattle.
