Tired of smoke and worried about wildfires? Join our panel of experts for insightful presentations and thoughtful discussion of the relationship between climate change and fires, and the increasing impacts on forest ecosystems and human health. We’ll also delve into the consequences of forest policy and solutions for the future, including what you can do to help!  All ages welcome! 

This is another event in the fun and informative Climate Science on Tap series organized by Cascadia Climate Action in collaboration with the UW Program on the Environment.  Scientists presenting will include Brian Harvey, PhD, UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences, Heidi Roop, PhD, UW Climate Impacts Group, and Nives Dolsak, PhD, UW School of Marine and Environmental Affairs.  Event will be moderated by P. Sean McDonald, PhD, lecturer with Program on the Environment and researcher at the School of Aquatic and Marine Sciences.
