Married lesbians Cindy and Joanne (Emmie Rays and Huan-Ru Ke), Taiwanese expats in London, are expecting their first child with gay couple Charles and Tim (Yukihiko Kageyama and Li-Yun Tsai). But a series of misunderstandings about who will parent the unborn child shatters Cindy, who leaves her marriage and flees to Taiwan, where her childhood best friend Tai (Tzu-I Yang) takes care of her, promising to raise the baby with her. Told through an array of flashbacks and anchored by moving performances, this moving feature film debut by Shie Guang-cheng explores sensitive issues that affect many same-sex families.
