Strength and conditioning for TK suspension: Strong shoulders

Sun, Jan 27, 2019 from 4pm - 6pm

This event has passed.

The takate kote is the most commonly used upper body tie in Japanese bondage, but without strong shoulders it can be difficult to sustain, or even be suspended in at all.  This class will focus on developing strength, stability, and flexibility in the shoulders and arms. We'll talk about proper alignment and shoulder mechanics, injury prevention, and things that we can do as bottoms to help prevent nerve compression.  This is a workout and movement based class, designed for all levels, so come prepared to get sweaty!

Level: all levels

Prerequisite: none
