This is a workshop for the new player to the BDSM scene and the Sex Positive Community.

Do you want to try something new, but don’t know where to start, how to ask for what you want and not get what you don’t want? Then this is the work shop for you. We will discuss the do’s and don’ts, the who is who and the what is what of BDSM play.

Attendees will receive a $5 off voucher for the Try It, You'll Like It Party that starts at 7pm.

The workshop will be in three parts:
• An introduction to BDSM and Sex Positive Community
Types of scenes and play styles
Words and what they mean in the BDSM context
Who does what to whom

• Negotiating a play Scene
Inclusive vs Exclusive Negotiation
What everyone needs to know – Medical Disclosure
Don’t forget the cool down – After Care

• Questions and Answers
What to expect at a Taster Event
What taster stations we be at the evening event

The workshop will include handouts and will include some practice negotiations.

This event will be held in the RAW Space. Please enter via the Annex.

About the presenter:

Who is Uncle Gary?
Gary has been a member of the CSPC and active in the community since 1995. Besides playing at the Center he also volunteers as a New Member Orientations Instructor, Ambassador, Event Coordinator and currently hosting the Black and Blues Party. He has also Championed fundraisers at the Center such as Paddles on Parade and Naked Oil Wrestling.
Although he identifies himself as a Service Top most people think of him as a Sadist.
A fun and creative Sadist, but a Sadist none the less.
