This event has passed.

Each year more and more of us pass through middle age. Most of us either assume that nothing will change in our play lives, or we retire to a vanilla lifestyle. It’s true that we change, and that we sometimes wonder whether being active in the scene has an expiration date. It doesn’t. We do change. We lose some of the flexibility and energy we enjoyed in earlier years. Some of us have high blood pressure, diabetes, and other chronic issues. We don’t have to hang up our floggers and retire to the rocking chair.

When: 7- 8:30pm, Discussion 8:30 - 9pm
Where: Annex
(No other CSPC discounts or AYCE cards applicable.)
Cost: $20, $15 in advance.

Aging Gracefully in the Scene will offer help in discovering how to stay active, and enjoy hot play all through life. We hear a lot of talk about TNG (The Next Generation), well what about Our generation? Whether you are a top or a bottom, things feel a little different. Aging sneaks up on us. Sometimes, when we notice it, we panic and give up what we enjoy. We will explore how to keep enjoying the play we love.

Some of the topics we will address are:
• Roles: How do you top an older bottom. As a bottom, what do you have to know to play safely and continue having fun.
• Negotiation: There is a lot more to discuss than limits and preferences. We will explore new questions we need to ask.
• Physical and emotional changes: Dealing with older bodies, understanding the positive and negative emotional impact of aging and play.
• Sex and play.
• Finding and keeping partners. The rules change a bit for us older members.
• Social implications of a growing older population in the scene.
• Keeping it all fun

This class is interactive. Expect to contribute your experiences. Maybe even a surprise demo or two. We will be looking for bottoms and tops who would like to participate.

Who should attend: If you or a partner is over 45 years old, or you want to learn more about aging and the scene. This is not a basic class. It is aimed at experienced members of the community. Beginners are welcome.
