Curse Of The North is a two piece metal band from Seattle, WA featuring members Christiaan Morris(Guitar/Vocals) and Patrick Taylor(Drums). After Christiaan and Patrick’s old band Black Houses had run its course in mid 2010, both members were looking to start the band they had always wanted to; a no frills stripped down metal band that focused on high energy riffs and rhythms. Stripping away any unnecessary elements, and creating as big a sound as they could with just two people. Curse of the North draws inspiration from bands like Black Sabbath, early Metallica, Mastodon, The Sword and High on Fire. But with a live show inspired more from bands like Death from above 1979, or Big Business. Curse Of The North released their Revelations EP in summer 2011 produced by Matt Bayles(Mastodon, The Sword, Botch) and working on their first full-length album, out 2013.
