Dominance/submission and Tea Service. Or, How to Host a Kinky Tea Party.

A tea party should transport the guests and make room for them to relish in beauty, taste, and connection with others. (TeaPartyGirl.com) A D/s tea party should also offer guests an opportunity to express their Dominance through receiving service, or their submission through giving service. Anyone can get a scone and a cup of tea at the ubiquitous coffee or tea shops in the area. It’s important to remember that someone chooses to attend a D/s tea party to be served (or to serve) something more. They are after the experience, the elegance, the gentility and the ritual.

Using the Women's Sovereign Tea as the example we will discuss preparing for tea service, the execution of service, and the closing of service. Topics will range from how to brew a pot of tea to trouble shooting sticky situations to basic food service and more. We will discuss ways to incorporate this into more intimate personal service, how to tweak the basic format to suit your needs, and ways Dominants can support the structure through receiving service. Like any good D/s interaction, both parties need to be in sync to make that special magic happen.

All participants will receive a copy of the training manual. Cream Tea (scone, Devonshire cream, jam and tea) will be available to put your new skills to use.

This event is HIGHLY recommended for anyone who serves at the Women's Sovereign Tea, or who has wanted to serve but been hesitant. All genders and orientations are welcome to attend.

When: Noon to 3PM
Where: Main Space
Cost: $20
(No other CSPC discounts or AYCE cards applicable.)

About the Educator:

Beca heads the team that runs the Women's Sovereign Tea and is part of the team that brings you Women on Top. She loves providing space for dominant women to explore and be pampered, and has a huge hostessing kink. She is fascinated by ritual and the interplay of D/s, and really likes to hit people with sticks. After nearly 10 years in the BDSM lifestyle, she is excited to be able to give back to her community through event planning and teaching.
