DIY Screen Printing with Maxx. You'll learn:
How to make your own small screens
What to look for when buying other screens
How to make tabletop printing work accurately and quickly
Differences of printing on fabrics, paper, wood, etc
Learn about heat setting and when it's needed
You'll do:
Make a screen with your own design (bring in your drawing approx 3" x 5"/index card size) x 2 - we'll be working in two colors, so two screens and two designs that are overlapping. If you don't have a design ready we will have time for you to create a simple design. We'll be using acetate and silk screens to do our printing. Be prepared to use Xacto knives. SIMPLE designs are encouraged. You will get help with simplifying your design if needed.
