Dolphin Midwives (Portland)

“Sage Fisher takes an instrument traditionally rooted in classical and jazz to the experimental realm and finds new dialects of sublimity with it.” - Dave Segal, The Stranger

Sage Elaine Fisher is an American composer, performer and sound artist based in Portland, OR. She is best known for her performance project, Dolphin Midwives, which abstracts harp, voice and percussion using electronics, extended techniques and ritual processes. She explores themes of empathy, natural cycles, vulnerability, transformation and technology through social experiment, meditation, psychoacoustics and magic.

Josh Medina (Seattle)

b. 1987, Seattle, WA

Crystal Quartez (Portland)
Crystal Cortez is a process oriented composer, sound & visual artist. Regardless of medium, she uses her art as a tool to transmit healing energy and discover answers to life’s important questions. In her music she creates restorative sound rituals by hybridizing synth loops with field recordings and objects from her environment, resulting in auditory landscapes both alien and natural.

mmuumm is a moniker of Seattle artist Brit Ruggirello. Combining her love of distorted loops and electronic voice echoes, Brit explores the sounds of womb resonance tones + somber aches of love.
