William H. Macy Screening and Q&A

Thu, Mar 7, 2019 at 7pm

This event has passed.

Attend an evening with William H. Macy as we explore the power of stories through a compilation of clips from his outstanding career.

Brought to you by Rachel Winter (producer of DALLAS BUYER'S CLUB) and Sean Lydiard (producer of CUT THROAT CITY) with TheFilmSchool and the Northwest Screenwriters Guild and benefiting the Inmates Screenwriting Initiative - the power to change lives inside and outside penitentiary walls.

The night’s featured film, STEALING CARS (R, 1h 34min, Drama), is a compelling drama about Billy Wyatt (Emory Cohen), a rebellious teenager whose criminal behavior lands him in a juvenile detention camp. Billy finds brutality, then forgiveness and hope, in an unjust juvenile penal system.

Other clips from Macy's career to include scenes from BOOGIE NIGHTS, MAGNOLIA, STATE & MAIN, FARGO, THE COOLER, SHAMELESS, CUT THROAT CITY, DALLAS BUYERS CLUB, and KRYSTAL.

Following the screening will be a Q&A with the filmmakers and William H. Macy.

Join us as we shamelessly dig into William Macy's career and learn about the craft of storytelling!
