Town Hall and Ada's proudly present UW Science Engage! Engage is a program where graduate students build their skills of communicating with the public about their work.

The world is quickly advancing where electronic devices (such as smartphones, wearable electronics, and solar panels) are used every day. I’ll be discussing about the economic and environmental costs of current electronics and the prospects of future organic carbon-based electronics and how chemistry can advance these products for a cheaper and greener future.

Nadiah Jenkins 

What stops us from sending humans to Jupiter or Saturn? What is plasma, and how can we use it in space? What are the challenges of building plasma-based spacecraft? Find the answers to these questions on a journey through science, history, and the solar system.
