DEAD LEAF ECHO
Dead Leaf Echo is a music/art collective from Brooklyn, NY.
On their latest album "Beyond Desire" the trio comes far closer to approximating their live show, with a scorching sound that is often volatile, rife with damaged guitar deconstructions and gleaming figures, yet maintains their eminently melodic sensibilities. DLE shifts from shimmering to scorching, as blissed-out, resplendent expository narratives, and also as pure, white-noise nihilism.

DLE have played twice live on KEXP's John in the Morning, and were recently featured as song of the day, while simultaneously on regular rotation on KEXP, and have also been featured on Nic Harcourt's KCSN show Morning Becomes Electric.

FOTOFORM
Seattle’s Fotoform create beautiful guitar-based dreamy post-punk. A captivating and arresting live band, propelled forward by Kim House’s melodic bass and Garrett Croxon’s (Fleet Foxes, Erik Blood, Moon Dial) swinging backbeat, Kim’s vocals glide over intertwining guitars from Geoff Cox and Stephen Jones (Red Martian).

Taking their name from a mid-century expressionist photography movement, Fotoform recall the gauzy atmosphere of UK alternative (The Cure, Cocteau Twins, Lush, Slowdive, Siouxsie and the Banshees) with the immediacy of US indie and post-punk.

THE FOREIGN RESORT
– a mix of dark new wave and explosive post-punk.
Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, the band combines the shadowy mysticism of The Cure’s Pornography era with a driving production aesthetic akin to LCD Soundsystem.

The Foreign Resort have toured relentlessly, addicted to the allure of America’s lost highways, sharing bills with bands like Cold Cave, DIIV, The Soft Moon, She Past Away, The KVB, Slowdive, Minor Victories, Ash Code and many more. Since 2010, the band has been rigorous in playing more than 400 shows across North America and Europe with performances at several festivals incl. SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, Wave Gotik Treffen, Canadian Music Week, POP Montreal and Nocturnal Culture Night.

Black Ferns is a post punk, alternative rock band from Seattle WA. Its music is diverse in mood and style with themes that explore addiction, love, and an unknown Orwellian future.

Merging strains of post punk with new wave and pop, Black Ferns wraps a haunting presence of cosmic psychedelia around its angular, riff-oriented heavy rock sound.
