Original Music inspired by Cecilia Vicuña's Saborami
Sat, Apr 25, 2020 at 7:30pm
Experience a night of original music inspired by the vision of the Chilean poet, artist and filmmaker Cecilia Vicuña, curated by Washington State Poet Laureate Claudia Castro Luna.
“My work dwells in the not yet, the future potential of the unformed, where sound, weaving, and language interact to create new meanings.” – Cecilia Vicuña
“Vicuña’s work, at its very essence, is ‘a way of remembering’—as if exile and recall joined to unravel an ‘autobiography in debris’ as one personal story within a larger narrative.” – Roberto Tejada
Performers will be announced 30 days from the event date.
