Kinbaku Basics: Rope Bondage for Everyone
A Workshop with Seattle Shibari
Japanese-style rope bondage is hot, beautiful, and wonderfully connective. Come learn the basics with Seattle Shibari!
In this three hour workshop, we'll explore several different foundational techniques and ties used in rope bondage, including limb ties, body harnesses, and different ways to incorporate rope into your own play. We'll examine anatomy & safety issues associated with this rope, and learn tips & tricks for tying your partner smoothly.
Prerequisite: None. This workshop is appropriate for all genders, sexual orientations, and body types.
Please bring:
(3-5) 25'-30' lengths of 5-6mm diameter rope
(2) 10' lengths of 0f 5-6mm diameter rope
Hemp or jute is recommended, but synthetic rope is fine. Don’t have any rope? We’ll have a little extra on hand for use, and Twisted Monk will be vending his excellent bondage rope before the class.
To ensure personal attention to each participant, class size will be limited to 10 duos. Due to the small class size, early registration is highly recommended.
Attendance is limited to 10 duos.
