Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the power and passion of Seattle’s Argentine tango quintet Tangoheart. Tangoheart returns after their sellout show at the Royal Room during last year’s February snowstorm. This year’s all new show, “A Piazzolla Valentine”, features works of the iconic Astor Piazzolla plus two of his greatest contemporaries: Osvaldo Pugliese and Piazzolla’s first boss Anibal “Pichuco” Troilo.
The group is led by bandoneonist Bertram Levy, with Andy Carr on piano and Todd Gowers on bass. The string section includes Ruthie Dornfeld on first violin and Dorothy Shapiro on viola.
Last year’s concert at the Royal Room was sold out so be sure to get your tickets early.
Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
