Advance tickets can only be purchased online-we do not sell advance tickets at the venue. Refunds are not available within 48 hours of the event. Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm.
The Sound Ensemble believes in the power of music to create community and transform lives. As a chamber orchestra of flexible size, we present concerts, programmed by our musicians with the intention of amplifying underrepresented voices. EXTRACTION: Art on the Edge of the Abyss will be a powerful night of celebration and lamentation. We will celebrate the beauty and wonder of our world while lamenting the profound environmental degradation caused by humans. Don't miss the world premiere of "Pietà: Lament at the Edge of the Abyss", written in response to the horrific impact of the Berkeley Pit and as part of the larger movement of EXTRACTION: Art on the Edge of the Abyss.
