Laced with R&B, Jazz, and Reggae, indigenously rooted Polynesian singer and songwriter, Po Leapai, consistently delivers P.O. BOXX's undercurrent of Soul and Island vibes. Influences from Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, Boyz To Men, and Babyface played are foundations in creating the unique P.O. BOXX sound. Opening for 112, Common Kings, and Blackstreet, Po, and the talented band of musicians that make up P.O. BOXX, are the architects behind the Funky, Vibrant, Island-Vibes that continue to draw in audiences from every walk of life.
The Soulitude Album, with its Soulful rhythms and lyrical magic, will once again ignite melodies that are sure to delight. At the Royal Room Launch Performance, Po Leapai will be joined by some of the album's gifted featured artists. Cameos from the some of the Pacific Northwest's dynamic artist gracing the stage include IaMcHaMel, who's most authentic sound in You Moved On comes straight from the heart, and Pompeiii, featured in Fly With Me, ushers a wave to the city that constantly brings the biggest bops we ever heard! You'll hear more of the album's unreleased feature artists who add dynamic lyricism to the stage.
