Longtime colleagues Kate and Nate are pairing up to showcase two of their long standing groups. Each group features some fun and funky tunes and will be performed by some of Seattle's finest musicians. Inspired by music of all genres, the selections for the evening will be sure be fun and engaging.

Bassist/Composer Nate Omdal moved to Seattle in 2001 to attend Cornish College of the Arts. While attending Cornish, was privileged to study the acoustic bass with Chuck Deardorf and Ron Simon, as well as jazz legends Julian Priester and Hadley Caliman. In 2006, Nate participated in a group led by multi-instrumentalist Denney Goodhew which was honored with an Earshot Golden Ear Award nomination. Beyond of the jazz community, Nate has collaborated with Tiler Peck, (New York City Ballet) Matthew Rushing, (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre) as well extensive work with local MC/Producer Spekulation. (Producer of the Seahawks anthem Bout that Action) Nate has been featured at the Paramount Theatre, Jazz Alley and Seattle's Town Hall, among others. In 2012, Nate became active with Fair Trade Music Seattle and the Musicians Association of Seattle (Local 76-493) and was one of the leading voices responsible for the "Musicians Loading Zone" parking signs installed in Seattle in March of 2014.
