The members of the Go Janes performed for nearly four decades before creating a trio together, long enough to arrive at the point of expressing what we’ve learned with tender and wise hearts: that anything worthwhile takes patience and calm. Attributes not exactly in high demand in our fast and highly distractible times, but a respite if you’ll take it.
Two members of the acclaimed satirical trio Uncle Bonsai, the artistic director of the consistently sold-out Wintergrass Festival, local activists and soloists, educators, and songwriters make up the Go Janes. It’s not their first rodeo.

Miche Mora invites listeners on a journey of the heart. With a guitar style described as Shoegaze with a dreamy vibe, Miche's emotive lyrics welcome nostalgic reflection. Pairing warm, at times ethereal vocals with guitar effects, Miche creates space for music as felt experience and holds this space with a quiet strength in stage presence.
Miche has spent most of the time as a solo artist. In May of 2022, bringing in Bryant Hill on bass and aNdi pUzL on drums, together they create the sounds and feel that takes you on an emotional journey you may not expect.
Akemi 明海 aka Reese T (she/they) is a Yonsei artist and activist; born on the island of O’ahu, raised between Hawai’i and Illinois, and migrated to Seattle in 2007. Their passion for music was ignited from the first strum of the ukulele and has grown steadily through numerous instruments and genres. Reese is the Managing Director of Northwest Folklife and since 2008 has led the Rain City Jazz Orchestra, an ensemble uplifting the musical contributions of womxn and non-binary individuals in jazz. More recently, they created an EP with newest project, trashyQ panda, and started performing under the moniker, Akemi 明海, the Japanese name given by her parents.

Aimee Zoe is a drummer and vocalist about town. She can be found throwin' down a wide variety of grooves with various projects in Seattle and beyond including:

Moe Provencher is a musician, sound engineer, writer, and educator. She can often be found collaborating with The Bushwick Book Club, behind the soundboard at various studios and venues around Seattle, hosting the Grief/Relief podcast, and playing bass and sometimes harmonica with various bands including Betsy Olson and Led to Sea."
