Guitarist Brad Shepik has recorded 9 albums as a leader and performed  with Paul Motian, Bob Brookmeyer, Charlie Haden, Carla Bley, Dave Douglas, Joey Baron, Pachora, Matt Darriau’s Paradox Trio, Jamie Baum, Combo Nuvo,  Kiran Ahluwalia, George Schuller,  Simon Shaheen, Yuri Yunakov's Bulgarian Wedding Band,  Chandrika Tandon, Gnawa of Hope,  Jay Clayton, Ben Holmes and Arthur Kell among others.   He appears on more than 70 recordings and has been awarded commissions and grants from the Seattle Arts Commission, Chamber Music America, NYFA  and the Puffin Foundation.   His latest recording is Believers  (Orenda 2020) with percussionist John Hadfield and bassist Sam Minaie.    In 2021 he premiered Human Activity - Code Red  a concert length suite on the changing climate which will be released in 2023.

Bassist Phil Sparks has performed and/or recorded with  Julian Priester, Ernestine Anderson, Wayne Horowitz, Floyd Standifer, Hadley Caliman, E.W. Wainwright, Jay Clayton, Jim Knapp,Jerry Granelli, Barry Wedgle, Rich Halley, Francis Vanek, Jay Clayton/Jim Knapp, Juhan Lee, Randy Halberstadt, Rick Mandyck, Jay Thomas, Woody Woodhouse, Clarence Acox, Floyd Standifer, Milo Petersen, Hans Fahling, Steve Griggs, Matt Jorgenson, The Plymouth Trio, Mark Lanegan, Akbar De Preist, and Peter Ross.

Drummer Michael Sarin is a Northwest native whose performing/recording credits include Julian Priester, Lee Konitz, Fred Hersch, John Zorn, Fred Hopkins, Jay Clayton, Mark Helias, Chucho Valdez, Ray Anderson, John Medeski, Chris Wood, Baikida Carroll, Bobby Previte, Steve Swallow, Mamadou Diabate, Badal Roy, Kenny Wessel, Brad Shepik, Rez Abbasi, Steven Bernstein, Michael Blake, Ted Nash, Ron Horton, John Hebert, Drew Gress, Potato Valdez, Michael Formanek, Tony Malaby, Andy Laster, Ernst Reijseger, David Tronzo, Tim Berne, Bobby Bradford, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Aruan Ortiz, Frank Kimbrough, Fay Victor.

This concert marks a reunion of this trio which performed frequently in the late 80’s. :)
