Grownfoux5 presents a fresh mix of old and new R&B, Soul & Smooth Jazz tunes featuring the lead vocals and bass guitar of bandleader David Holden Jr. Supported by guitar (Paul Sowell), keyboards & synths (Rob Pastorok), sax (Scott Adams), and drums (Andrew Melczer).
From a premier Seattle musical family, David is the grandson of the “Patriarch of Seattle Jazz”, Oscar Holden, who was instrumental in shaping the Jazz music scene in Seattle. David Holden Jr. and Grownfoux continues the Holden family tradition of pleasing audiences of all kinds with authentic, heartfelt performances.
