Join us for a sparkling end-of-year celebration! We’re closing out 2025 with a surprise bonus Winter Formal Blues dance featuring an entire evening of learning, connection, and community—led by the phenomenal Grey Armstrong.

Whether you arrive dressed to the nines, in cozy elegance, or simply as your fabulous self, this night is designed to bring warmth, joy, and movement to your winter season.

Blues dancing is an umbrella term for a family of living Black American dances that evolved across the U.S. and act as the roots of many other movements. The different styles were shaped by different Blues music genres from the 1800’s to today. These genres vary in instrumentation, rhythms and tempos leading to a variety of different expressions throughout Blues idioms. Connection in Blues ranges from close embrace to solo movement, and your connection to the music is prized as much as your connection to your partner.

7:45–9:00pm — Blues Dance Workshop with Grey Armstrong
Start the evening with an immersive workshop from one of the most sought-after international Blues instructors. Grey’s classes blend deep cultural context, personal expression, and intuitive learning, offering dancers at every level the chance to grow, explore, and truly feel the dance.

9:00–9:30pm — FREE Drop-In Lesson with Grey Armstrong
New to Blues? Bringing a friend? Want a refresher before the social? This short, fun intro lesson is the perfect way to ease into the evening.

9:30pm–12:00am — Social Dancing to DJ’d Blues Music by Grey Armstrong
Grey takes over the DJ booth for the rest of the night, curating a rich, expressive mix of Blues music that will keep you moving, grooving, and connecting until midnight.
