Critical Mass Big Band has been a cornerstone of Seattle's contemporary jazz scene for nearly 25 years, consistently delivering electrifying performances that leave audiences spellbound. Under the musical direction of Ian Basques-Jellison, this premier jazz ensemble features five saxophones (Paul Gillespie, Barbara Hubers-Drake, Al Lowe, Ian Basques-Jellison, Sara Voskuhl), four trombones (Jim Elder, Dave Buck, Doug Lora, Vinnie Christ), five trumpets (Marty Molloy, Jeff Leinbaugh, Mark Baker, Greg Klein, Victor Ross), piano (Seth Ahnert), guitar (Neal Adams), bass (Phil Demaree), and drums (Rob Parks). Their energetic big band jazz is sure to impress.
