Fire Marshall Ventura is a 3 part harmony vocal group specializing in 60s style Jamaican rocksteady, with 70s style roots reggae & dub, backed by some of the best reggae, jazz, funk, and latin musicians in Seattle. Lead singers Chava Mirel, Jonathan Kimball, and Norman Baker have been developing their vocal blend for 15 years while also leading their solo careers as solo artists. The full 8 piece band w/ 3 piece horn section, is built up of a truly diverse cast that have worked with Jamaican international legends Sly & Robbie, Clinton Fearon, Anthony B, Winston “Flames” Jarrett, Keith & Tex, Eek a Mouse, Mykal Rose, Turbulence, Prezident Brown; world renowned artists Norah Jones, Melissa Etheridge, Nneka, Oliver Mtukudzi; as well as local Seattle greats Massy Ferguson, Duende Libre, Adrian Xavier, Dub Lounge International, and Wet City Rockers.

Since forming in summer 2023, Fire Marshall Ventura has performed over 50 concerts, including NW Folklife Festival, Bob Marley Tribute Nights, and highlight an extension of the original Jamaican styles of rocksteady, reggae, and dub, that has been a tremendous influence on the music of the world.

Johnny and the Moles are an American band based out of Seattle, WA. They play roots music that ranges from rock to funk to jazz. Led by Nelson Bell on tuba and John Ewing on drums and vocals, they have a New Orleans flavor that blends joyous immediacy with deep grooves and melodic flare.
